Milafi
Smart assistance for the practice. A portable medical record for the patient.
A medical platform that gives doctors time back (structured dictation, assisted ECG reading, document reading, record summary) and gives patients a portable record they share themselves, one practitioner at a time.
- Live
Highlights
- It never decides for the doctor: no prescriptions, no diagnosis, nothing invented; every action leaves a trace the patient can see.
- The practice that writes the record pays for the assistance; patients and receiving practices pay nothing.
- A code, not an account: at the practice, the record is recognized by a code or a scanned card.
- Designed for medical complexes: the cardiologist writes, the GP receives, the lab uploads.
Overview
In Tunisia, none of the 8,760 private practices holds a patient's complete history: each keeps its own part of the record, and information travels with the patient, when it travels at all. The doctor who writes the record loses time; the doctor who receives the patient works without a reliable history.
Milafi is the connected medical practice, from booking to report: schedule, real-time waiting room, patient record with an AI summary, structured dictation, assisted ECG reading, prescriptions and CNAM billing in one workspace, in French, Arabic and English. The doctor, the practice team and the patient work on the same record, each with their own rights.
Patients keep a portable record for free and decide who may read it, what and for how long. The assistance works for the doctor, never in their place: it does not prescribe, does not diagnose and invents nothing. Milafi is published by Neuronyx SARL (Sfax) and is being tested in a Sfax medical complex with a cardiologist.
The problem
Patients carry their medical history in envelopes, phone photos and their memory; the doctor rebuilds it at every visit. Out of 8,760 private practices, none holds a patient's complete history. The doctor who writes the record loses precious time, and the one who receives the patient works without reliable history or a verified current treatment: repeated tests, redundant prescriptions, missed interactions.
The AI solution
Milafi works for the doctor: the dictated consultation is transcribed and split into sections, the ECG is read on request, documents are summarized and the record is synthesized. Nour, the assistant, answers from the documents in the record and cites its sources. Patients get a portable record for free: they choose who can open it, which sections and for how long, and see every access in their log. The AI does not prescribe, does not diagnose and invents nothing: every suggestion is reviewed by the doctor.

How it works
The appointment is booked online
The patient books from the doctor's public profile (location, day, slot, reason); the practice confirms in one click.
The waiting room runs in real time
Arrivals, waiting times and payments: one shared queue for the receptionist, the nurse and the doctor.
The consultation is dictated
The doctor dictates the consultation; the transcript is split into sections and each proposal is validated before it is recorded.
The ECG is read, then analysed
The 12-lead trace is shown on its own; on request, the analysis screens thirteen abnormalities and estimates the two-year atrial fibrillation risk.
Documents return to the patient
Prescription, report and ECG reading reach the patient's space, readable by their pharmacy, with every access logged.
Sharing, decided by the patient
The patient decides: who, what and for how long.
The patient code
Every patient carries a Milafi code. At the practice, it is typed in or the card is scanned: the record is recognized and the practitioner requests access.
The sections
The patient chooses what to share: identity, allergies, vital signs, medications, documents. Lifestyle can stay private.
The duration
Access is read-only, time-limited and withdrawn in one tap. The practitioner keeps what they copied, never the rest.
The log
Every view leaves a trace: the patient sees who opened what, and when.
Features in detail
Patient record and AI summary
Allergies, history, clinical indicators and past consultations; the summary (overview, history, alerts, plan) is regenerated on demand and validated by the doctor.
Structured dictation
The whole consultation, dictated at once, is transcribed then distributed into the record sections (history, examination, conclusion, plan).
Assisted ECG reading
From the electrocardiograph's digital export: thirteen abnormalities scored against their threshold and the two-year atrial fibrillation risk, on the doctor's request.
Nour, the assistant
Answers from the record's documents, cites its sources and says what it does not know.
Sharing decided by the patient
A patient code, no account to create; share everything, by category or per document, read-only and revocable at any time.
Access log
Every access is dated in the patient's log: record views, access granted, changed or revoked, downloads.
Schedule and online booking
Public doctor profile, online booking confirmed by the practice and a reminder before the visit.
Practice team
Receptionist and nurse handle check-in, the waiting room, payments and vitals; each role sees what concerns it.
Prescriptions and CNAM billing
Prescriptions and lab orders written from the catalogue; CNAM coverage is applied to every invoice.
Messaging and video calls
Messages and video calls between the patient and their doctor, when the doctor enables them.
Use cases
Cardiologist in a medical complex
In Sfax, a cardiologist is testing Milafi on real cases: dictation, ECG reading and record sharing with colleagues in the same building.
Specialists and medical complexes
Doctor practising alone
Without an assistant, booking requests are confirmed in one click, dictation fills the consultation and the prescription reaches the patient's space.
Solo practitioners
Patient seen by several doctors
The patient shows their code at the next practice and chooses what to share: the doctor gets the history, without repeated tests.
Patients
Receiving practice
A practice that receives a record reads it for free; the assistance is only offered at the first consultation it has to write.

Frequently asked questions
Do my patients need to create an account?
No. The doctor creates and keeps the patient records; patients who wish can open an account to book online and find their prescriptions and results.
Who can see my patients' data?
The practice team, according to the roles the doctor defines. The record carried by the patient is read only by doctors they have authorised, and every access is logged.
How is my account verified?
The doctor enters their Medical Council registration number and attaches documents; a live identity check completes sign-up, and the team validates every doctor within 24 hours.
Do I need to install software?
No. Milafi opens in the browser, on a computer or a phone; an on-premise deployment at the practice is planned for those who want it.
Does the free trial commit me?
No. No credit card is requested; after 14 days, the doctor chooses a plan or exports their data.
